I want the hard copy!

I want the eBook!

The first Christmas after my diagnosis with coeliac disease was a difficult one. I spent most of it moping around, thinking only about what I couldn’t eat, with delicious memories of baked goods from my childhood tainted by the fact that these delights were now gone forever.

The next year I realise it didn’t have to be that way. I started thinking about how I could convert these beloved recipes to be gluten-free so I would have plenty to eat for Christmas. I started with one, and then another, and before I knew it I had 20 recipes! And so “Gluten-free Baking at Christmas” was born. With the help of some lovely supporters on a Crowdfunding site, I managed to get it printed in time for Christmas 2012. I still can’t quite believe my eyes when I see it in print, but I hope that with the help of this book I can show you how easy it is to make great tasting seasonal food that everyone in the family can enjoy!

Here’s a sneak preview of what gluten-free treats you could be enjoying this winter:

Christmas Cake
Classic shortbread
Candied date balls
Gluten-free lebkuchen

[…] Gluten-free baking at Christmas was a project I started rather selfishly so that I’d have plenty to eat at Christmas. Once I had a few recipes the idea started to grow and before I knew it I had a book out! My second book will be less about baking and more about great gluten-free dinners for the whole family. I have already done quite a bit of brainstorming and planning, so I hope to have this new book out by May/June. […]
