No, I’m not splitting the bill when I next go out, rather, in a couple of weeks I will be moving to the Netherlands! My other half will be contracting out there for at least 6 months, and I’ll be packing up the cat and the KitchenAid and going with!
We’ll be living in Haarlem, a small city about 20km west of Amsterdam. It’s wonderfully picturesque and relaxed, being a great deal less touristy than Amsterdam (if I liked living in a touristy city, I’d stay in London!). It’s also conveniently, something of a foodie town, and I’ve already sussed out my gluten-free shopping, the best gluten-free sandwiches ever, and even some coeliac safe gluten-free pizza!
But wait! Before you press that unsubscribe button (do I even have one of those?), fear not, this will have very little effect on my blog content, other than a different background for the pictures (read: better natural light!) and a few more Amsterdam/Haarlem restaurant reviews. I will keep my blog focussed on gluten-free living from a broadly UK perspective, but you never know, I may uncover some amazing European brands!
If any of you guys ever make it to Amsterdam or Haarlem, do drop me a line! And of course, if you have any recommendations for me to try, do let me know!
